Of Mods and Macros

(Won't be posting tomorrow, have a friend's Bachelor Party to attend. :D )

Blizzard created the WoW interface with XML descriptions. This allowed people to make a ton of mods and UI changes that would help enhance their playstyle. It's reached a point where you can tell quite a bit of how one plays by how they have their UI set up.

My first character I've played with and without heavy modification, but eventually learned to do everything with the standard interface.
As seen in the older screenshot here. (The only mod I had was a threat meter, but in a PvP environment it's not used.)

Rolled up a new Priest character recently, and arranged the screen to represent my simple tastes. On a random note, I derived the Welsh name Gwalchgwyn for 'White Hawk'. I didn't want a name that someone would immediately be able to create a monosyllabic sound to call upon, and it's become a resounding success that it has beleaguered all who have joined questing with me thus far.

"Gwel... Gwy... " etc.

And there are mods that are extremely extensive such as this one.
Or this one... NSFW, because of boobies.

And finally, a fantastic World of Warcraft art piece.
Give it a moment to load.
