New Schedule: Day Two

I love video games and I can never thank my mom enough for introducing them to me. My mom got me the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt NES double pack in '89. She had thought like many of my early childhood passions that I would eventually out grow it. Though it's been 17 years, and I still feverishly play them and the love of video games has only grown as I hope to make a future career in it... so, probably going to be something that's part of my life for quite some time.

I'm not sure how to continue to pursue it-- either artistically (pitfall: laziness) or as a programmer (pitfall: laziness). Though I want to be involved in the creation process of it. Chances have come and gone (sigh), but at least I'm more aware of my current limitations and how to overcome them.

The reason I'm alternating between cartoony illustrations and more realistic pieces is that I'm trying to maintain flexibility and learning to keep a consistent schedule is never a bad thing.

Though practicing my programming has proven a bit more difficult it seems. Hopefully I'll be able to change that in the near future.

I apologize, but today's post is going to very link heavy.
I WANT THIS GAME TO COME STATESIDE SO BADLY: Click Here.

'Do The Whirlwind' which has awesome pixel animation going on.

More of Paul Robertson's skill here and here. A ridiculously cool handheld-game inspired animation he did can be found here.

I shouldn't be as excited about this game as I am, but...
