Since I'm excited to girlish glee about the recent posting of the new upcoming add-ons to the classes in Burning Crusade, I wanted to share a genuine email I sent to a friend recently.

Hey wassup?

Had some dorky luck today. Wanted to share.

So you know I love being a Hemo rogue. I don't output the ridiculous
white damage of Combat Rogues, nor the burst damage of Seal Fate
Rogues, but dammit- I love PvP stunlocking.

Besides the energy efficiency, the damage isn't normalized like other
attacks and abilities. Making it an ability that's been a HUGE pain in
my ass to shop for.

Snowless' attack power is 528 (yeah, shitty I know... >.<) and 5
points in Lethality.

Now, these values are meant to be entirely unbuffed, no cool downs, no
poisons, no enchants. Just flat naked values. Also doesn't include the
stat bonuses or procs of the weapons into these values, though they
are still listed. Also, I still have my super fast dagger in my
offhand to help apply poisons.

Hemo attack power isn't normalized and generated using this forumla:
Weapon Damage + (Attack Power / 14) * Weapon Speed

Hemo Crits are as follows
Hemorrhage Formula * (2 + Lethality Rank * 0.06)

So for damage it's going to
Weapon Damage + (37.7) * Weapon Speed
Above * (2 + 5 * 0.06) == Above * 2.3

Now I was introduced to the Krol Blade when the duping exploit was
found. Now, it seems like it's one of the better known epic swords.
Usually going for 500 gold (I think the lowest I ever saw it was
400... woo...)

Krol Blade
Equip: Improves your chance to get a critical strike by 1%.
+7 STR +5 STA
80 - 149 Damage Speed 2.8
Avg Hemo Weapon Damage (per hit): 220.05
Avg Hemo Crit Damage 506.14

Which, for my po-dunk rogue... is utterly sublime.

Huh. Well... I'm almost exhalted in AV, so maybe I can pick up another
epic weapon. The Lobotimizer! Unfortunatly, because it's a dagger-- it
has a fast speed. Also costs 110 gold. Which compared to 500 seems
like a steal until...

Lobotimizer
Chance on hit: Wounds the target for 200 to 300 damage and lowers
Intellect of target by 25 for 30 sec.
59 - 111 Damage Speed 1.80
Avg Hemo Weapon Damage: 152.86
Avg Hemo Crit Damage 351.58

As you can see, the fast speed causes my Hemo damage to take a HUGE plummet.

GAH.

So, now I'm looking around for diffrent swords. There's a couple of
really good options, but I'm not in a guild nor do I really rely
entirely on world drops.

Hunh, it then dawned on me today that being revered in AV allowed me
access to other items too... specifically, a mace!

Stormstrike Hammer
+15 STR
80 - 150 Damage Speed 2.7
Avg Hemo Weapon Damage: 216.89
Avg Hemo Crit Damage 498.61

About 5 damage less per hit then Krol, and 8 less on a crit...
And it only cost me 29 gold. :D

Now I only need to train up my mace skill so I can actually hit things.
Oh yeah...

And get my Attack Power up. :P
