Introspection No More?

46 is generally not a significant number. It is not immediately divisible by most culturally important numbers. It's not a Prime number. It is not a value that is being used constantly in various computer equations. In the range of nothing to the infinite, 46 doesn't seem to be of much value other then sitting between 45 and 47 (Though it is close to 42- which Douglas Adams has shown is a very important number indeed). But, the number 46 is very important to me--

It's the number of posts I've added to this blog.

Having stuck with this as long as I have has surprised some of my older friends, who are fully aware of my generally unrivaled short attention span I have with almost everything I am involved with. Now that it seems that I'll be working to this blog for the long haul, I decided to change a lot around to make it less of a chore to read and rummage through. Maybe even start putting up new material on a bi-weekly basis. Maybe.

While my posts are me musing over my thought process or methodology were enjoyable for me to write. Actually, 'enjoyable' is not the right word. It was EASY for me to write. I would like to be able to produce a post that's actually enjoyable to read, and constant introspective posts is not going to let me do that.

I keep a small binder full of ads I tear out to draw at a later date. I feel drawing life studies is the most important practice anyone who illustrates can do. Especially if one does non-realistic figures. Learning what one personally can and can't distort but still allow for recognition. While I was working on this illustration, I also had several chat windows open. Foolishly while I was using my finger to help smudge certain pencil lines, I replied on my white Mac keyboard. I left graphite fingerprints all over, a surprisingly large amount between the return and quotation key. I also got graphite on my mouse, but don't remember using it. Luckily for me, it cleaned really easily.

Drawn To Be Alive is a Unreal Tournament 2004 Mod that is shaping up to be fantastic and goofy.

I leave you with a quote from a very close friend:
"Although I did get cornered by a lady who is after my junk, and had to defend both of our respective honors."
