Delineation... Of Sorts.

[Hmm. An auto-save function would have saved me quite some time, as I accidentally closed my browser and lost my initial post. NOTE: Probably won't be able to post this weekend, probably need to begin a more consistent (in frequency and schedule) posting arrangement.]

I see myself as artistic. I enjoy using my imagination to arrange lines, shapes, tones, and hues in different fashions (and I try and utilize various mediums) to express something.

I do not create Art. I produce illustrations.
The distinction isn't tremendous, but I feel it is substantial.

Don't worry-- this isn't a grandiose rant on elitism or cultural significance.
I define Art as work produced that is aesthetically pleasing. I don't feel I've reached the culmination in my skills that would qualify as Art. I do feel, though, that I can produce a work that can express my idea (with varying degrees of clarity) entirely in visual form.

I like drawing...

Doodling different things...

Doodler.

I am a doodler.

This was heavily influenced by Katie Rice. Just, you know, not nearly in the magnitude of awesomeness that she brings to everything.
